Denver International Airport Passenger Terminal Complex
Denver, Colorado USA

Given a mere three weeks for the terminal’s conceptual design, Curtis Fentress broke the mold of traditional airport architecture by “turning the building upside down,” thus creating an innovative form. DIA evokes the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains and is an international icon of Colorado, as well as one of America’s favorite U.S. architecture landmarks. Business Traveler Magazine readers voted DIA the “Best Airport in North America” four consecutive years (2005 – 2008).
